Delete your Lingo Cascade account
You can request deletion of your Lingo Cascade account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page applies to accounts created in the Lingo Cascade app and at lingocascade.com.
How to submit a deletion request
Open Lingo Cascade, select the Feedback button in the game menu, and enter the email address connected to your account.
In the message, write “Delete my account and associated data” and send the form. If you cannot access the game, use the feedback form at lingocascade.com and include the same request.
We may contact you at the account email address to verify that the request belongs to you. After verification, the request will normally be completed within 30 days.
Data that will be deleted
Deleting your account removes the account and the data associated with it from our active systems.
- Account email address and authentication record
- Saved vocabulary and learning preferences
- Game progress, points and rewards associated with the account
- Account-linked game analytics identifiers
Data that may be retained temporarily
Limited records may remain in encrypted backups, security logs or support correspondence for up to 90 days, or longer when retention is required by law, fraud prevention or the resolution of a dispute. Retained data is not used to provide the deleted account and is removed or anonymised when the retention period ends.
Guest data
Guest progress stored only on your device is not linked to an account. You can remove it immediately by clearing the Lingo Cascade app data or the browser storage for lingocascade.com.
